After the same manner also... I Corinthians Chapter 11 verse 25, He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, this cup is the New Testament in my Blood: This do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of me.

As we take the cup in our hands let us look to Psalm 116 verse 13 that reads: I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the Name of the Lord.

The book of Hebrews tells us that Jesus is the Mediator of the New Covenant - having put away sin by the sacrifice of Himself. He became our sin offering having washed away our sins with His own blood, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
In John chapter 6 we read in verse 55... My Blood is drink indeed. He that eateth my flesh and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in Me and I in him.

Let us Pray

Father God, we lift this cup of Salvation and call upon your Name. We sanctify it this day as a reminder of your Covenant with us, that we may dwell in you and you in us. We thank You for cleansing us from all our sins and take this cup in remembrance of you, in Jesus Name, Amen.

Let us take the cup.
